DYNAPLAM DOUBLE BRAID (PES/DYNEEMA®)
Construction: double braid – cover 16, 20, 24, 32 plait; core 8, 12, 16 plait.
Composition: cover made of high tenacity polyester fibre, with opposite twists, core made of a mix of Dyneema® and H.T. staple spun polyester.
Features: light, almost inextensible, easy to splice.
Elongation: from 3% to 4% at break; from 0,4% to 0,5% at 20% of the breaking strength .
Colour: white, coloured.
Applications: racing sheets and halyards and for superyacht, small braid for underwater spear fishing and scuba diving, (in diameters 1,5-2-2,5 mm), strops for optimist, laser and dinghy.
